Just over a year ago we opened our doors at Somerset Point in Beaufort South Carolina. Months and months of preparation, long hours, long debates, and long lists preceded opening day. Riding my bicycle, walking my dog, or even driving through endless communities I am fairly certain it never occurred to me the time, thought, effort, vision, and challenges that stood before the first brick was laid, first sign hung, or first doorbell rang.
I look at things differently now. I am embarking on another journey from dirt to discovery, from permitting to plumbing, from speculative to special. The beginning of a new community, Somerset Point at Ladys Island.
