I have finally figured it out, but it took the right tools.  Below are simple instructions for adding great video to your Activerain blog:
1. Taking a video using Flip Mino Camera is the simplest way I've found.
2. Create video using Flip's simple instructions, add music if desired, and save to Youtube using your strategically selected keywords for tags.
3. Write your blog on Activerain and save it to publish it.
4. Copy the code from Youtube on your video (this is an option you have while watching the video, either copying the code or the URL- for this purpose, take … (6 comments)

Interactive websites would look like Stonewall Farm, I've decided. The other day I brought my children to Stonewall Farm.  Stonewall Farm is set on a beautiful open country road on outskirts of Keene, NH.  Their mission is to connect people to the land and do so through their organic garden (CSA) and their working farm where numerous educational programs and events take place.

It was wonderful, and I had the entire blog article well thought out including title title, links, images ...and it flowed.
But something happened.
On my way into work today I made some stops. First stop, daycare. Second stop, preschool. Then something distracted me and I found myself deeply into a parenting magazine left for me in my daughter's cubby. Very quickly, everything I had held in my mind was lifted away. blog: How do you write a blog- the basics to get you started - 03/18/09 08:13 AM
I've been asked by people in the community about how to begin writing a blog. I'll post some basics, though practice is really essential and you'll see why.  You can start one on Activerain, Wordpress, Blogger, among others. Do a google search and see where you'd like to get started. You can also start by responding to blogs that you read. Creating your own blog is not for everyone.
Developing a voice

Start Here:Right click on the address bar of a site address you want to link into your post.Copy the http address (beginning with http://) of the site you want to reference in your link.In your blog:Type a word you want to use to reference your link (do this in your blog post.)Highlight it.Above your post you will see a little picture of a linkage/or chainlink.
