According to the Pelican Bay Post:
Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 in California by Major Bil Hendricks, USMCR. Naples joined the Toys for Tots programin the early 1980's. Pelican Bay is the largest souce of toys and cash donations the Marines receive. For questions, call Joanne Hobin at 239.595.3987 or Gwen Rasiwala at 239.596.6180 x229.

pelican bay community center: Computer Savvy at Pelican Bay - 11/10/09 10:12 AM
A great variety of computer classes are being offered as part of the Pelican Bay Community Center Enrichment Program (Web Design, Social Media: Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, etc, and Computer Basics).
In addition to the classes, a free column will be published on the Pelican Bay Post to answer all Pelican Bay resident's computer and web questions. 
Questions must be submitted to Nancy Griffin at NGriffin@pelicanbay.org .  Nancy is also responsible for arranging time for private or semi-private instruction with the Pelican Bay Community Center Computer Instructor.

The Pelican Bay Community Center is a 25,000 square foot facility, located at Hammock Oak Park Drive in Pelican Bay.
