hunger: The wishes of little girls - 01/28/08 11:43 AM

I was driving my daughter Rhiannon and her friend Amelia somewhere, don't remember where, probably home from the Spaghetti Factory. In the back seat they were discussing wishes. Amelia mentioned that when you make a really big wish, you have to avoid wishing for anything else for at least 4 months in order to give the wish enough power to come true. They then told each other what their big wishes are. Amelia - to end world hunger. Rhiannon - cures for cancer and AIDS. Not Hannah Montana tickets, not toys, completely unselfish wishes. They're 10 & I am very impressed with those … (11 comments)
