Lately, I've been busy trying to keep up with work, writing, blogging and getting ready for the next opportunity that will comes around the corner. A few months ago I wrote about how Active Rain got me ready for writing for the local paper on a post called The Whipping Boy. (it's a members only post) Another page has turned in my story and I've now been asked to be an a panel at the NAR Mid Midyear Legislative Meetings and Trade Show.

Spring skiing? You've got to be kidding me. All the way from Bonita Springs Florida to this? It snowed, it was cold, it was so windy the lifts were closed! There was good weather, but it was iffy a few times, too. This picture was from the top at the Timberline Lift, which was closed just after I took this photo. The skiing was great, regardless of the wind and WIND CHILL. There were a few bright sunny moments that I did capture, also. I also have another dog for my "Ski Dog Collection". I'll probably live, but something has gotten the best of me. I believe it was some sort of spinach dip I had at a party saturday. It's been awhile since I have been this sick. I actually had a listing appointment at 10:30 yesterday and showed two homes at 2:30. I knew something was wrong on the way home. I even ran a red light to get home. It was a long night and I now look like Uncle Fester and a little wrung out. (That mascara migrated with the all night sweats!)

Well, it's over. The fat lady sang, so to speak, and the old lady's limpin'. I ended up running the race without the rest of the Keller Williams Running and Limping Club!
This was the inaugural race for the Susan B. Komen foundation in SW Florida at Coconut Point Mall. The turnout was huge. Mammoth. I couldn't find the rest of the runners and limpers that I knew. I ended up running until I caught one of them with about 1K to go.

Back to civilization (Bonita Springs, Florida)and the Internet.
So I'm in Colorado skiing and decide to go to the top of the mountain. There's often a sissy way out, so you don't have to take the double blacks down. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't even take the sissy way down. The lift drops you off at 12,850 feet, which isn't quite the summit. The summit is another 150 foot up. Today was a day to get together with some of my family. My Twins turn 19 in a few days. I threw them a get together. Today I had a birthday party for them that was the same old, same old (for them). They are bored by my antics, but glad their grand parents showed up.

As I have only been back in Bonita Springs for a few days, I'm finding it hard to peel open the peepers at the usual 5:00 a.m. I manage 5:45 but I've just dug my way through customers, appointments and my bills to get to ... The Resolution. Bad news, I don't believe in Resolutions. I have never made them, that I recall. The reason is simple. A few have asked where I have been the last several days. My attempt to journey from Bonita Springs, Florida to Telluride, Colorado for a quiet vaction was not without event.

This is hard this early in the morning. Plus, I have to get the Stooges out the door for their trip.
1. I cut off one of my big toes by accident when I was a toddler. It was successfully reattached, however, I have no memory of the incident.
