If you're under contract to purchase a unit at Moraya Bay or you're watching and waiting for progress reports, this is it. There isn't a whole bunch happening at the site, but ground has been broken and the concrete is being poured.

In addition to boat slip rentals the dock offers fuel service, sight seeing charters and charter fishing. Waterfront dining is available at "The Dock" restaurant and The Cove Inn. The restaurants are accessible by boat. Observe the minimum wake guidelines.

In the Heitmans area of Bonita Springs, Florida there are a few gulf access properties and homesites. This area was originally settled many years ago. Several of the streets near the Imperial River have built in boat ramps which provide gulf access. Both the Pennsylvania and West Terry Street side of the Imperial River have canal front homes/homesites as well has dry lot homesites with deeded gulf access to the Imperial River via a neighborhood boat ramp.

Many boaters in Southwest Florida know it can be hard to dock their boats because there are so few spots to do so. The recent decision from members of the Bonita Springs City Council will make it get even harder. The city of Bonita Springs has the option to buy the docks that are currently up for sale, but they won't be doing that.
