That's the word out on the street! Forget stats, forget analysis, ignore lame complainers who don't have vision or a positive spin. Talk to the movers and shakers, connect with the guys and gals who make it happen, who seek out opportunity and who are there, in the right place, at the right time. They are the 'lucky' people who consistantly out perform their colleagues. These are the same individuals who just seem to get all the 'lucky breaks!'
It's about attitude, changing it up sometimes, making those exceptionally powerful connections that you know you need to make. It is really time to see that 'lucky breaks' just means reward for hard work and that 'right place, right time' happens to those that make a great day out of mediocre news updates, boring statistical analysis and the same old industry is dead syndrome that we have had to endure for way too long.
It's getting better for the folks with the more positive and higher energy outlooks. Change your perspective, put the work in and you will definitley see an improvemnet. It is getting better all the time, for those that make make a difference and are not afraid of a few solid hours commitment.
