I don't like receiving unsolicited mail regarding Islam

Today I received two e-mails. The first was an HUGE diatribe on the greatness of the Islam faith. I have no idea how many pages of information it held but I stopped counting at 10.

The next e-mail was an e-mail to boycott products and services from companies who were anti-Islam and most notably were Jewish.

I take offence at these unsolicited e-mails.

I am a Christian who worships in the Roman Catholic Tradition. Islam is a way of life that in the end would have me convert to its beliefs or call me an enemy. My Christianity and Catholic tradition would reject many of the teachings of Islam and would recognize all people as God's creation and therefore brothers of a kind. I choose my faith way above the others but I sure wouldn't push my agenda unsolicited onto anyone else.

I didn't know that belonging to Active Rain would subject me to unsolicited religious propaganda. I have changed my profile to the best of my ability to reflect incorrect information because I don't know how to quit this social group. I chose Martha Washington as my pseudonym because I am female and because she was the wife a great man who respected God and freedom of religion and who recognized how important it was to minimize government control…. something that we seem to be loosing these days.

The e-mail in my new profile is made up as well.
