Flyers, signs, and other marketing things----- - 08/15/09 09:21 PM
Today we were out taking care of flyers. Marketing flyers. The kind that do not have pricing on them, you want them to go to the web site! Big bright pictures, my kids putting them on doors (yes, finally a way to channel all that energy), and good times for all of us together.
And together we were. All day! My husband and I are exhausted---but, as we took care of flyers in various parts of town we also stopped into our favorite stores for new school clothes, haircuts, school supplies, and all that good stuff! My littlest, 5 years old … (1 comments)

Bottom line, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When my beloved husband and I bought our home it had pink carpet. It still has pink carpet--but now we're sort of sick of it and we're looking at what's next. Back to my point:-) we had moved from our loved WA state to FL and we had left behind a couch the same exact color as the carpet. The home could have been a total dump and we would have bought it. We hear it on the news almost every day. Everywhere you go, people are talking about it. Low ball 'em! Take your time on deciding if you want that home or not......it's a buyers market! But is it really?

I was pondering my life yesterday at church, as the computer crashed (let me correct this: before church, while the kids were in Sunday School, and I was hiding out in the balcony:-)) on my luxury home test. The issue was the crash--would it fail me as a natural default? And then while my beloved husband was trying to calm my frayed nerves I came across the above quote!

Today it is Saturday! I love Saturday's--
Today I painted my office. 3 grey walls and 1 red. It is beautiful. It is relaxing. It is exactly what I thought it would be and then some. Love that I can have an office that I enjoy, a place to go to, a place where my kids can come to --- but know that it's 'work'.
Love this. Have I mentioned that I love this? At some point this past year I realized that I am 'Mom' when at home, and certainly not as productive. But in the office I am a very … (2 comments)
