Disclosure: I am not a lender, I am not offering rates;

WOW! A client of mine just had a rate locked in by Arlington Bank at 4.25% on a 30yr FHA loan. Are you kidding me! What a fabulous rate. Since Friday of last week I noticed that FHA rates in Columbus were around 4.3 to 4.5%. But 4.25% that's pretty awesome.

As agents we need to be partnering with lenders in getting this information out. Whether you believe the market is turning upwards or not, in my opinion there in no doubt that rates only have one direction to head from here. The largest group to educate is the younger demographic that is clueless to the fact that not too long ago rates were double digits. Anyone purchase a home in the late 70's or even the 80's.

What double digit rate were you thrilled to receive back in the day?
