Perhaps you read my latest episode of REALLY??!?! regarding a missing portable microwave killing loan approval. Maybe you didn't. If you didn't, it's a fun read, and actually really funny... Many of you asked how it turned out...Well,I sent off an email on Sunday morning with pictures of the portable microwave (with trim kit) along with the cubby... I specifically asked the loan officer how the appraiser knew it was not a cookbook nook or an art niche (thank you Lenn Harley) and how the bank could require my clients to install PERSONAL PROPERTY into a house they do not

The request for Highest and Best was given to the listing agent by the bank Monday afternoon, but it was not transmitted to me until Tuesday morning. Many of you may have seen or read my blog post from a few days ago about The Untold Side of Foreclosures. Well, I'm excited to say, our two new girls came home today: Raisin and Spice! Here are some pictures of them at home in their new pen... Spice is the 'blond' Raisin is the color of, well, Raisins! They are both 5 years old, and they are sisters. The proper designation is CDPE...And no, it's not an incurable disease and it's not some weird workout program....it is the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation, and you not only want it, you NEED it - whether you know it or not. This designation is a MUST HAVE and the course is a MUST TAKE! I can't say it any simpler. One of the greatest tragedies in America today is the fact that there are so many bank-owned properties on the market that could have been successfully divested as short sales. According to an article in USA Today on Friday, Freddie Mac announced a first-of-a-kind plan that lets homeowners and tenants temporarily stay in homes in foreclosure by renting them back, an effort to stop many of the sudden evictions that have come along with the housing crisis. According to the article in the paper, the program will let thousands of qualified former homeowners, as well as families renting from landlords, enter into a monthly lease on their homes after they have been acquired by Freddie Mac through foreclosure.Freddie Mac officials expect the program to help about 8,600 families in 2009.
