It's amazing.  Coeur d'Alene has been hosting Ironman for a mere 5 years, yet we are now one of the most popular Ironman events in the world.  In just 6 days, the 2008 Ironman event was filled.

It was announced today that Coeur d'Alene and Ironman have officially made their intentions known.  Ironman will be with us for another 5 years and if everything goes as planned, indefinitely.

Something wonderful for our area is that we host Ironman Coeur d’Alene every June.  I can’t even begin to measure what this event has done to benefit the North Idaho area.  It has certainly helped to make us known throughout the nation, even the world.
