ny: Queens Foreclosure the highest in the five boro's! - 07/23/07 03:43 PM
Ryan Slack from PropertySharks.com talks about the foreclosures in all five Boro's. He explains that while all areas of NY have seen an increase - he is mostly worried with Queens and the rate that homes are coming up on the foreclosure list. I will admit it - I have seen a large incline in the number of homes that are pending or are in foreclosure, but keep in mind - when the analysts speak of Queens, it is not the Bayside, Whitestone, Flushing, Malba or Beechhurst area. Are you smarter than a fifth grader? I hate to admit it, but there were a few questions that had me rethinking my original answer. Watching the game show with my boys (13,7) made me realize that they ARE way smarter than I was at their age. The things that my youngest son has learned are things that I think we were touching on in the fifth or sixth grade: nouns, pronouns, adjectives and conjunctions are normal in his daily school regime. I mention what my youngest is learning because those are subjects that I still have a grasp on. As

Oh UGH! OK - I am with you on this. I am Brittney Spears, Paris Hilton and Zillowed out. I hear you - do You hear me? I can't sit here anymore and analyze them anymore and I will play with the site on my own and come to my own conclusions. I just can't listen to anymore blah blah blah.. Don't take this the wrong way - I like the Zillow guys, but its a song that has just been outplayed and got real old. ny: Buyer agency and Seller agency - two different roles - 09/07/06 10:22 AM
In Nyc it is not normal practice to work with a buyer agent. I have never been a buyer agent and I have rarely seen a buyer's agent. I think that this is something that should be enhanced and worked on here. As a broker in Queens, NY. I feel that the buyers are mis-lead on where agents loyalities lay. Even though we have the buyers sign an agency disclosure, outlining who the agent works with - they still don't know. The difference for a buyer or the benefit of a buyer to use a buyer's agent is very simple. You
