salem county: My Assistant's Bad Day...... - 02/08/12 09:29 PM
My Assistant's Bad Day......
Our assistants become our family, don't they?  Well, that is exactly how I feel about my associate, Billy.  It was time for his checkup, so I dutifully accompanied him to his doctor's visit.
It was hard to watch, but I knew he was in good hands.  Billy goes to Woodstown Veterinary Hospital in Woodstown, NJ.
They are all so nice there.....but Billy isn't convinced of that.
They told him he needed shots, a blood-test, a pedicure and he was overweight.
Oh yeah....poor ol' Billy has an overbite, too. I think he felt that he was being picked on.
He … (29 comments)

December Blogging Challenge - Day 31, Toasting In The New Year
In keeping with our annual tradition of toasting in the New Year, the team at Coldwell Banker Pino Agency met at noon today for sparkling wine, snacks and words of wisdom & hope.
In the past years, I think we were toasting OUT the old year more than we were toasting IN the New Year.  So --  today we rang in the new one.  We kept it positive.
We ran it in, in German.
We rang it in, in Italian.
We toasted to good health.
We toasted to prosperity.

Labor Day Treat:  Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival There are still two days left to enjoy the the sun, outdoors, food, fellowship and some really terrific music right in the historic town of Woodstown, NJ.  The 40th annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival is being held at the Salem County Fairgrounds on RT 40, just down the road from 'Cowtown'.
The weatherman is calling for lovely days and the conductor is calling for tapping toes, clapping hands and snapping fingers!  It's gonna be amazing!

The lineup appears to be one of the best ever. Tickets are still available. (at the gate) … (3 comments)

salem county: My Top 5 Real Estate Lessons From 2010 - 12/27/10 11:31 PM
My Top 5 Real Estate Lessons From 2010
Well, here we are at the end of another year.  2010 marks the end of my 18th year in the Real Estate business.  Each year is special due to the customers and clients that I am fortunate to represent.  The years are also special because of the terrific agents that I am lucky to work alongside.  This is a competitive business, for sure, but the reality is that agents need each other to accomplish the majority of our transactions.
Oh sure, a single agent can secure Buyer leads and Seller leads all by … (5 comments)

salem county: Workforce Investment Board - aka 'WIB" - 10/29/09 04:19 PM
I haven't had much time in the office today because I had to attend my first WIB meeting. The Workforce Investment Board is a committee of business people from both Cumberland and Salem Counties. It is comprised of somewhere between 31 to 51 individuals - some from large employers and some from small employers. For some reason, the Salem County Freeholders decided they wanted a Realtor on the board. Since I don't seem to be able to say, "No" these days to requests for volunteering, here I am learning about WIB. Today's meeting focused on some new programs at the Salem … (2 comments)
