I would like to extend sympathy to those affected by the recent wildfires in Southern California. My family and I are all too familiar with the shock and devastation a fire can do to a neighborhood. We were among those who were threatened by the Esperanza fire October of 2006 in Twin Pines. We were one of the lucky ones that were able to come back to a home.
