The Bible is packed with secrets to living a happy, healthy and wealthy life. I understand that many religions are anti prosperity and teach that its more spiritual to be poor.  Now if you are someone who has done more then just listen to this message and have actually studied the word, went deeper into the meaning of the scriptures, then hopefully you have found that its a TRUTH that God wants us to "..prosper in all things and be in good health." (3 John 2)

One of my favorite books in the bible for prosperous truths is Proverbs. In the beginning chapter in Proverbs it instructs us to get wisdom, knowledge and understanding.  Through out Proverbs we are invited to seek wisdom!

"Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars.  She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table.  She has sent out her maids, and she calls from the highest point of the city. "Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack judgment. "Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of understanding." (Proverbs 9 1:6)

Simply put the wisdom of God is ready for you if you take the invite.  It is not totally spelled out. We are asked to seek it and gain understand and learn the TRUTH.  The invite is there, often we are too busy to join the party.  Once we to RSVP to the invite we still have to seek the understanding and leave some of our worldly ways behind.  

Not always easy if we have certain habits and preconceived notions of how we think things should be.  Prosperity is not all about money. Its about FULLNESS of UNDERSTANDING in the laws (Lord) of the Universe.  Its a journey that takes time and practice.  The LOVE of ALL is always there.  Don't feel down when you find yourself falling short.  Simple take the invite that is always there to dwell in the FULLNESS and GOODNESS of God.

I'm so thankful for...

Spend some time today completing the above sentence.  Think of many things in your life from the fact you have food in the refrigerator, a bed to sleep in, a roof over your head all the way to the larger things that you have.

A great way to start your day is by writing out this list or saying it out loud as you wake up, drive to the office, take a shower. 

Giving thanks brings more of the good things you would like to see to you.  Its really simple to do and much better then spending your time worrying about what can go wrong. 

This is probably the starting point to your PROSPERITY!  Be thankful for the good and the things that appear to be NOT good.  When we appreciate the little things, we make a way for those things and more to come into our lives.

We have a lot to be thankful for even if we have had a bad day, week or month!  Have a blessed and prosperous day!

Something that holds many people from prosperous results in their life, is when things don't go there way they get all worked up at themselves and others.  The "evil" that has caused them financial lack, health problems, relationship problems, etc is holding them back from the GOOD in their life.

The Hebrew word for evil, "aven," means "nothing".  Think thought about how often we talk away our good by telling everyone we can about the problems in our lives.  (I know I have done this, and still catch myself doing this).

Now its probably hard for most of us to see "evil" as nothing.  However, you can certainly learn to look for the good in every situation and evil is nothing more then undeveloped good. When some issue are challenge cross our path its a chance for us to learn from it and go HIGHER in our life.  

The same things keep coming up if we don't learn the lesson.  Thus, that is the reason why we often have things to always complain about.  Because we are choosing only to see the problem (evil) and not going HIGHER and see it as UNDEVELOPED GOOD.

Affirm: MY GOOD IS AT HAND AND QUICKLY APPEARS NOW!  or

THERE IS ONLY ONE PRESENCE OR POWER IN MY LIFE AND THATS GOD THE GOOD! or

THERE  IS GOOD IN THIS EXPERIENCE  AND THE GOOD IS REVEALED TO ME NOW. IN FACT, I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE WHAT GOOD IS COMING FROM THIS!

To cap off the first week of my "Prosperity Secrets" daily blog I thought I would take time to talk about the NEED for Prosperity Consciousness!.

We live in a time of expanded demands.  With the economy that has been in trouble for a while, with a housing market that has been slow to recover, with gas prices rising it takes much more then the normal WORLDLY WAYS to get by financially.

Its a struggle for many people to pay their bills. Others pay their bills but feel really restricted to do some of the things they hoped to do with their life. 

Its perfectly healthy to desire want increased abundance in your life.  "Desire" in its root means "of the Father".  The desire you have to live a MORE THEN ENOUGH life comes from God.

Unfortunately, it has seemed like a struggle for so long for so many that their PROSPERITY has been suppressed and a negative attitude or a "my prosperity is out of reach" attitude has been developed.

Simply realize that Prosperity is a GOD GIVEN desire and it should be expressed constructively.  The quick affirmations, prayers and ideas I have shared and will continue to share are a way to learn to express your desire for MORE THEN ENOUGH.

The world needs your expanded prosperity consciousness a lot more then it needs more BARELY GET BY downers. You have the power to do more good!  Use it!

Its a hidden gem to find that the bible is packed with secret success attitudes in scriptures beyond the literal meanings we often hear about.  I am thankful for my reading of the Catherine Ponder books that have helped open my mind to prosperity. From her writings I have applied and now continue to apply prosperity secrets and success attitudes to live a more complete life (happiness, wholeness, peace of mind).

(Genesis 1:3) "God said, Let there be light and there was light."   God has the power to speak light into the world and into your situation.  If you are facing some troubling situation or simply are looking to bring new good into your life.  Pray, meditate and affirm: LET THERE BE LIGHT.

Often we rush around trying to make things happen on our own, and only after things don't look good do we call to God in desperation for help!  Its now time to start first to go to God with your challenges and your goals and ask Him to LET THERE BE LIGHT.  To help you and guide you through things. To give you new ideas for obtain the GOOD you want in life!

LET THERE BE LIGHT. LET THERE BE ENLIGHTED IDEAS AND ENLIGHTED RESULTS IN THIS SITUATION. Can be your first step in resolving some trouble or pursue your goals and dreams!

This month I have been blogging about Prosperity Secrets and I have started with focusing on speaking BLESSINGS to your situation.  See my last post here.

Today I wanted to give you some more statements you can use to bless yourself, others, and situations you face.

For your health: I GIVE THANKS THAT MY BODY IS A TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD. I NOW PRAISE, BLESS, AND GLORIFY DIVINE HEALTH IN MY BODY.

Blessing someone elses health: I BLESS YOU AS A RADIANT CHILD OF GOD. I BLESS YOUR MIND, BODY AND AFFAIRS AS THEY NOW EXPRESS RADIANT PERFECT.

We do this because if you bless a thing it blesses you. If you curse a thinkg it will curse you. Its so simple but how often do you spend time and energy speaking a "curse" to whats going on in your life.  If you do this you probably find that you keep getting more troublesome results.

Blessing troublesome people:  I BLESS YOU AND BLESS YOU FOR THE GOODNESS OF GOD THAT IS WITHIN YOU.

For unhappy situations: I BEGIN NOW TO BLESS EVERYTHING THAT COMES INTO MY LIFE AS GOOD, GOOD, GOOD!

For business sales: I BLESS YOU AND BLESS YOU WITH IMMEDIATE, MOVING, SELLING POWER!

We can all find situations that we probably wish we used these statements of blessing instead of the negative talk we poured out when we had less understanding of the POWER OF THE BLESSING

This was a featured post yesterday and very worthwhile sharing with sellers who are on the market or thinking about selling their home.  Pricing is very important and its best to start priced right but if you dont here is what you need to do.

Deciding when to drop the listing price is difficult because it depends on the region and market.  There's no one formula that will work across the board.  However, there are guidelines that I think work in most situations.  Here are a few standards I think work everywhere...

When the feedback says "It's too high!"

If the agents and buyers are coming back with pricing suggestions or verbal offers, and those are in line with the comps your priced above, then you're priced to high.  That's the point you should drop the price.  Don't wait for "the perfect buyer" to come along - it'll never happen.  You'll increase the chances of a sale by dropping it immediately.

When you haven't had a showing in 30 days

With the exception of open houses, which don't count, if you haven't had a call to either preview with an agent or show a client, you need to drop the price.  Regardless of the price range, if you're not getting at least one showing a month, the price is too high.  If it's priced right, you should be getting a lot more showings.  How much to drop depends on the property but drop it enough to get showings.

When a similar property sells for less

If a property in the same market that is a good comp sells for less than your asking price, drop the list price to capture buyers who were looking at that other property. If you want a little negotiating room, fine, but come to within 2% of the other listing price as soon as that home goes to "pending sale" status.

When the last price drop was 90 or more days ago

If the last price reduction was 90 or more days ago and you don't have a serious buyer on the hook, drop the price.  Even if a buyer is considering the property, drop the price.  Dropping the price will engage more buyers and existing potential buyers will be motivated to write an offer before someone else does.  I've seen sellers sit on properties for months while potential buyers make up their mind.  The result:  wasted time and opportunities.

When you list with me, I'll work with you to price the home right to start.  However, if the price starts out higher, I'll walk you through all the data-driven rationale behind bringing your price down to get a buyer.

In the first three post this month I talked about the Prospering Power of the Blessing.  Including the power of blessing people, things and events that seem to hurt you.

Today I thought I would dive a little deeping into what TO BLESS can mean:

When you are blessing something you are "asking for divine favor for some situation or condition." To bless means "to make holy or whole by spoken words." It ask can be used "to wish a person or situation well," or "to make happy, prosperous, gladden, glorify or praise."

When you bless your looking "to bring forth good in a situation, condition, or personality" whether their seems to be any good to bring forth or not. These seem like all good reasons to really focus on speaking words of blessing  as often as possible during the day.

Bless your business dealings and financial affairs. Bless your health and relationships.  Bless those that love you and those who seem to have something against you!  Who or what can you bless NOW!

Continuing with the theme of Blessing (see Feb. 1 post, and Feb. 2nd post on Blessing):

Todays Prosperity Secret: Bless people, things and events of the past or present which have seemed to hurt you!

Unlimited blessing can come out of your past or current failures; or things or people in the past or present that have hurt you or let you down.  Most often we spend time and energy getting upset and speaking negative words (cursing) these situations.  Doing so actually steals are joy and GOOD and can stop or slow the flow of our INCREASE now.  

Declare: I BLESS THOSE PEOPLE, THINGS OR EVENTS WHICH SEEMED TO HAVE HURT ME. I BLESS THE FAILURES THAT SEEMED TO HAVE BURDENED ME.  I GIVE THANKS THAT A BLESSING IS NOW COMING OUT OF IT ALL!

See the good in all people, things and situation! The PROSPERING POWER of this blessing will set you free!
