Even though the temperatures in Minnesota are freezing cold today; the desire for investment properties has been heating up for a while.
When it comes to homes that an investor might be able to "flip" for a profit there is a lot of competition.  Right now I am normally running into 5-15 offers on those types of homes. Many of those offers are CASH offers.
When it comes to homes that would work better as rentals you will still find multiple offers in some of the popular areas that have extremely low prices.

Its time to start expecting good things to happen in your life.  Sometimes we get stuck in a rut and expect things not to work out.  We need to realize that what happens to us in our life is a choice and we can speak things into existence if we understand the power of our thoughts and words!

As new buyers come into the market its important to know that in the Twins Cities Area in Minnesota the new listings and homes reduced to the right price will sell fast once they are priced to get attention.
Knowing this you will want to be pre approved for a mortgage when you are ready to move because not doing so could keep you from ever getting that great deal.

This is something we don't think of often enough.  Our mindsets direct us toward prosperity and abundance or toward poverty. 
It may not be as simple as thinking more positive and things will turn completely around because most people have deep rooted fears, expectations, habits and strongholds on the mind.  However, if you are aware that your mindset is a big part of where you are financially now it gives you a chance to start working on replacing your limiting thoughts.

I am wondering how many people actually know that they have the choice whether to be successful or not.  I think some people adopted thinking that other people can be successful but they can't.  Those limiting thoughts have set you up only for a mediocre life. Is that what you want?
Hopefully religion has not taught you that its more spiritual to just get by or worse yet to be poor.  If so you better get out the WORD and cross reference it with the TRUTH.

Are you taking time to develop your mind? The world is changing so fast around and one of the ways to keep up with this change is to have a sharp mind.  There are various faculties of our mind we can develop such as our: intuition, will, memory, perception, imagination and reason.
What have you done lately to work on any of these?  Your mind is a powerful tool and I spend time daily exercising my mind.

Signs You Should Go Home When Your Sick - 01/20/10 12:49 PM
I really don't have a list of 10 REASONS YOU SHOULD GO HOME WHEN YOUR SICK or anything like that.  I am just stubborn when it comes to any illness and don't believe I can have them. Therefore I rarely get sick and if I do I just work through it.
I don't have any face to face appointments so I am in the office and not harming anyone. Just trying to stay on top of my follow up and I have a lot of it to do today.

Expect Home Inspection Delays On Minnesota Homes - 01/19/10 10:08 AM
We have had a heat wave in Minnesota for the last few days.  Daily high temperatures reaching 32 degrees or higher.  However the days before that we were freezing with wind chills well below zero.  What does that mean for the Minnesota home buyer?!?!?
When it comes to getting a HOME INSPECTION it means to expect delays.  I have a had two home inspections delayed in the last week.  These delays ultimately delay the closing most often.

Do You Think The Vikings Ran Up the Score on the Cowboys? - 01/18/10 08:27 PM
I enjoyed the Vikings victory over the Cowboys yesterday.  Coming into the game most of the experts picked the Cowboys to win.  Even some of the experts that pick the Vikings to win seems to be doing so just so they could be different.  Although watching them talk about the pick they seemed to think the Cowboys were going to win.
I had predicted a Vikings 41-17 win. Of course the actual final score was 34-3.  The last touchdown of the game came with under two minutes left with the Vikings going for it on a 4th down near the goal … (10 comments)

Spending Time With Your Kids - 01/13/10 08:43 PM
One of my goals this year is to spend more quality time with me kids. They grow up so fast and I don't want to miss it.  I added one more little cutie when I got married at the beginning of the month.  So far after coming back from the honeymoon I have caught up on my work and been able to spend good quality time playing with them.

I have been away from Active Rain for more then two weeks now and there are probably a couple people wondering what I have been up to!  Sure I have been selling house and working to help them close, but that is not the main reason that I have been away.
I was married on Jan. 2nd to my lovely wife Melissa.  We then went on our honeymoon the following week.  I am back at work now.  Although I don't know if work ever stops.  I had four offers get accepted while I was on my honeymoon! Which is ironic in … (8 comments)
