I did not think I would have to wait until Feb. 29th to say this, but I am snowed in today. My wife made it out after 15 minutes of shoveling her out and then a push to get her momentum so she could get through the snow and started down the road. The kids like not having school. Although I am having them read now.

Feb 29th- Prosperity Secrets- Tithing Part 2 - 02/29/12 06:30 AM
Today I am expanding on yesterdays blog about Tithing. I think if people understood tithing they would openly and receptively tithe. I don't know the actual percentage of people tithing out there (and by tithing I mean giving or more 10%). I would imagine the percentage is lower then it needs to be.

Yesterday I did an introduction to Prosperity and Tithing. Today lets go deeper into this topic. This month I have mentioned that I see God as the SOURCE of my supply. By doing this a person opens their supply up to all avenues of the Universe. I am ending this month long series on "Prosperity Secrets" talking about Tithing. I heard tithing first in my local churches growing up. It was said that you should give 10% of your earnings to the church. For most people this probably seems hard to do. And then on top of that why would you do this?

When I blog about PROSPERITY I bet it touches people differently. Some probably run from the topic because they don't fell prosperous or think God does not want us to prosper. Perhaps they confuse greed with prosperity.
Again when I talk about prosperity I talk about a spiritual well being of wholeness (health, wealth, joy, peace). Perhaps I and other would lean toward relating it to finances.
Perhaps a scripture like this would confuse someone not searching for TRUTH:

I have been giving different prosperity tips for the last three weeks. My hope is that the little quick tips shed light on what you can do to be and feel more prosperous. My spiritual view is more open minded then most and probably more open minded then you think it is from what you might read from me.

We are trained to think that we have to work harder and harder to do well in what ever we do. Its true that we do need to work hard, but its also true that sometimes we need to take a break to rest and relax and reenergize.
You might need a few days off or even just a few hours off. Whatever it is that helps re-energize you I suggest you take the time each day, week or month to catch your breath. Burn out is no good to your health, relationships or pocket book.

This is a little longer then the one I shared a couple of days ago, but I really enjoyed it. I had a busy day because my little baby was sick and taking care of him took full attention. I just got around to taking time to meditate.

Spend some time today completing the above sentence. Think of many things in your life from the fact you have food in the refrigerator, a bed to sleep in, a roof over your head all the way to the larger things that you have.

Something that holds many people from prosperous results in their life, is when things don't go there way they get all worked up at themselves and others. The "evil" that has caused them financial lack, health problems, relationship problems, etc is holding them back from the GOOD in their life.
