8000 tax credit: Buyers --- Things To Remember!! - 02/24/10 03:21 AM
Buyers!!!!  We are heading into a busy season in Real Estate.  With the tax credit deadline its going to be even busier.  If you have not bought a house before or if your last transaction was in a different market and time here are some things to remember:
1.  You don't own the house until its closed.  During the time your offer is signed and accepted and up until closing there are a lot of things that can happen (especially dealing with bank owned homes and short sales).
      a)  Short sales - They are subject to the bank approval and … (1 comments)

8000 tax credit: Tax Credit Idea: Extend $8000 Tax Credit To Buyers Who Buy 'Market Worn' Listing - 10/20/09 03:22 PM
I keep reading about the possibility of the $8000 tax credit being extended and different pushes to open it up to more people.  Of course I hear the naysayers who think it will be throwing money away and only temporarily keep market prices up.
They say that most of the people will buy a home anyway so why give them the tax credit. I know that I have probably gotten 7-10 more sales in the recent 3-4 months because buyer wanted the tax credit. That was there motivation.  These are people who would have stayed on the fence and perhaps waited until … (2 comments)

8000 tax credit: Extending the Tax Credit - 10/08/09 01:10 PM
The $8000 tax credit has been successful getting more buyers into the market.  Its been so successful in the lower price range that most homes are getting multiple offers and bid up.  So should it get extended?

1) There are a few late arrivers to the incentive that have just now decided to buy a house. Its not likely though to actually secure a home right now and close … (3 comments)

8000 tax credit: $8000 Tax Credit on Minnesota Homes (Only 91 Days Left) - 08/31/09 10:37 AM
If your looking to get in on the up to $8000 tax credit for a home purchase in Minnesota there is 91 days left before this expires.  With the NFL season on the horizon, 91 days for the tax credit is like the 2 minute warning in a football game.
Time is running out so you need to get something going in a hurry to beat the clock.  A lot of things need to come together for a successful sale.  Getting pre-approved, narrowing your search, looking at homes, making an offer, getting an offer accepted, having a home appraisal go well, … (1 comments)

8000 tax credit: Is The $8000 Tax Credit That Big of a Motivator - 07/14/09 09:43 AM
How big of a motivator is the $8000 tax credit?
With interest rates being low and prices on homes being low what does the $8000 tax credit do for a buyer? What have your buyers been saying?  Is this their number #1 motivator?
My first time home buyers really want this $8000.  This is a big paycheck for anyone. Its free money that if that incentive does not change will be gone on Nov. 30th.
Buyers are out there trying to get this money. When a listing comes in at a LOW LOW price from a bank. Promptly 5 -15 offers … (4 comments)
