Today some past clients contacted me to see if I could help them out. It seems the house they purchased over 2 years ago still shows as Active on the listing agents website. Now that might not be such a big deal...okay it is...but what makes it even worse is as a result of it being Active on the agent's site it is still Active on other sites as well.They have had people knock on their door and ask if the home was still for sale or ask if it was a "coming soon" listing. You see the buyer's whince as soon as they walk in the front door. No matter how you try to say it's "only cosmetic" they stand in awe of the job in front of them.What is it that causes the issue? For many the idea of a HUD Home brings to mind the image of a home that is completely run down and perhaps in a less than desirable section of town. The realty is that Northern Virginia HUD homes come in all sizes, styles, condition and neighborhoods, the same as any other home for sale in the area.
