This week Superintendent Steven Waits announced that despite an initial plan to layoff 700 Prince William County School employees for the 2010-2011 school year the funding has been found to ensure that there will be no layoffs for next year.
Prince William County Schools are expecting an increase of 3500 students for the 2010-2011 school year bringing total county enrollment to 78,000.  Also slated for Fall 2011 are three new schools in western Prince William County.  Two new elementary schools,  T.
