new home sales: New Homes Starts went up in September from August 2009 - 10/22/09 12:12 PM

According to the Texas Home Builders Association. New Home Starts in August were 580,000 Septembers it was 600,000. It is not a huge jump but it is a jump in the right direction.

This is great news in the middle of all the bad news in the world.
Maybe things are turning slowly but turning the right way!

new home sales: DR Horton Marketing and what He thinks about Realtors I was shocked! - 07/18/08 10:49 AM

The comment from Head of Marketing for DRH also makes it sound like Realtors can be lead like cattle, that Realtors can't think for themselves! Either that, or I am an AWESOME trainer of Realtors! I find their response unbelievable considering that Realtors sell 80% of DRH homes nationwide.
I, think anyone that is suppose to be a marketer to Realtors and represents such a company would allow that attitude.
If that is how you feel we as Realtors will stop bringing you clients to your communities.
