So the question I'm facing is whether or not to join (another) team.  I very recently separated from a team where I participated for about four years and right now, I really like the whole independent thing.  However, a small group in my office is forming a team and asked me to participate.  They are all strong agents, each of whom I respect, and each brings something different to the table. 
What I didn't care for with the previous team was the huge commitment to open houses, every weekend - usually both days.  I'm told that won't be the case here, … (4 comments)

If nothing else, this market has allowed me to step back and rethink the way I'm doing business.  Something good has definitely come out of this bad market.  Although I have only been in real estate six years and haven't been thru a crunch like this before, I am looking at it as a challenge and will take this as an opportunity to think out of the box and be open to changing times.  I often hear people buck the changes and want everything to go back to ‘the way it was'.....
