2 weeks and counting-Chapter with a heart! - 07/25/09 07:31 PM
August 7,8 and 9 our Tennessee State chapter of CRS will be sponsoring our team, "Walkers gone wild" in a 3 day 60 mile breast cancer walk through Chicago. This will be the 4th year in a row the Tennessee State chapter has sponsored a team for this event.  It is my honor to walk on the behalf of the chapter along with Amanda Stone, this years State President.

Honey, STOP THE CAR! - 07/06/09 08:07 PM
I traveled by this sign several times through the week, while vacationing in Northern Michigan.  Finally I just had to say it, "honey, stop the car!"  We turned around and pulled into the cemetery.  John thinks I'm insane, the girls (teenagers) are just plain embarrassed, and I'm just laughing and snapping away. 

It's all perspective.

First off, Happy fourth!!!!  I am on vacation here in Northern Michigan and came across two wonderful concepts from city of Petoskey that I would just like to say, THANK YOU! The other day we were shopping and our time ran out on the parking meter.  We turn the corner to see a 'ticket' on the windshield. I kept saying to my sister, "maybe it's not a ticket" knowing it probably was!  Well, it wasn't.  It was a warning, welcoming us to the city (Tennessee plates) and giving us 1 hour to return and fill meter.  Wow.  That was nice.  Then … (6 comments)
