Grab your best Easter bonnet and hop to the Easter on Parade in Richmond, Virginia.  The fun starts at 1:00 today on Monument Avenue in Richmond!
There will be live music, awesome food, crafts, lots of fun stuff for kids, and those one of kind special bonnets.  (my favorite part)
Over 30,000 people are expected to attend this year.  With the beautiful, warm weather we're having today, that number may rise!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month - 04/05/11 02:55 PM
April is national "Child Abuse Prevention Month". 
Abuse to a child is not only in the form of physical abuse.  Child abuse may be found as emotional or mental abuse, neglect, or sexual abuse.  In many of these instances the abuse is not a one time occurance.  A child being abused may suffer through mistreatment  for many years.
The Virginia Department of Social Services has a hot line phone number to call to report any suspected abuse.  You may reach them at 800-552-7096.
