It has been awhile since the new construction market has shown signs of growth.  We have been having an increase of showings but acceptable offers are few and far between.  We are starting to incorporate closing cost rebates, additional inclusions such as lawns and/or decks as well as extended warranties.
 The price of new construction usually doesn't allow the builder to discount his/her prices as much as owners of exisitng homes.  Since most ot the products used in new construction are influenced by oil prices either at the manufacturing level or as basic as the transportation level, developers are being squeezed by … (1 comments)

I have twenty listings - mostly new construction that I share with my two licensed partners.  The quality is there.  The extras are there.  I'm there.  Where are the buyers?  Oh sure they look.  Nobody seems to have a pen with them when they are confronted with a blank offer to purchase.
 Seriously, I have real estate in Green Bay, WI and I would love to sell it all.  My builder will build more.  Send a buyer my way and I'll share the commission.

That's what many people think.  We all know that that's not true.  The truth is real estate professional provide a very valuable service.  Hi, my name is Cindy Leiterman and I'm a highly trained real estate professional.  This is my first attempt at blogging  ( when I first heard the term thought was some kind of stomach ailment).
 My area of expertise is new construction.  Believe it or not, "my builder" is still building spec homes and fortunately they're selling!  The media isn't helping us any but business is good.  Sure it could be better but I'm not complaining.
