Top 3 Picks for Fishers Bargains, Deals and Steals - 05/25/10 10:38 PM
As the tax credit fades away, some buyers are still looking for a bargain, steal or deal in their home purchase.  Your Fishers Realtor keeps track of those and can actually set you up to see them as they come on the market also.
There are twelve "distressed properties" currently on the market and 11 of them are less than 60 days on the market; they go quickly.  I did not pull the "Possible Short Sale" ones because they are so iffy...

The activity in the Fishers Real Estate market has been unbelievable.  We certainly sold a lot of homes the last 15 days of April. 
In the first 15 days of April, 48 homes sold in Fishers.  In the first 15 days of May, 46 homes have sold in Fishers.  But...in the last 15 days of April, 90 homes went under contract!  If there was any doubt that the tax credit affected the real estate market, there is your answer.  Absolutely!

Things to do in Fisher Indiana - 05/17/10 07:00 PM
Saxony Market opened Saturday!  It is located at 131st and Olio in Fishers; open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Each Saturday there will be live music; last Saturday music was by Special Purpose and Phillip Steven & The Open Road.  There was also a bounce house for the kids.  You can find find seasonal fresh vegetables and fruit, and even meat products like sausage and pork. Rita's Backyard will be there each week with beautiful flower arrangements and hanging baskets.

Carmel Indiana Real Estate Market Report for April 2010 - 05/17/10 06:44 PM
I'm about to tell you about another great month in the Carmel Real Estate market!  Currently there are 843 homes for sale in Carmel; 132 of those are condos and the other 711 are homes.  Of the 843 homes on the market, 84 of them are less than $150,000.
May was another terrific month for Carmel Real Estate.  There were 122 homes sold compared with 89 last April 2009.  That is a 37% increase in homes sold from a year ago!  Fishers Real Estate experienced a similar increase at 25% from a year ago.

Selling Carmel Indiana Real Estate has its challenges, but understanding what a buyer and seller want is not challenging for this Carmel Realtor.  There was a quiz recently posted at Realtor.org with 11 questions; I answered almost everyone correctly.

Fishers Real Estate Market Report for April 2010 - 05/13/10 08:41 AM
There are currently 793 homes for sale in Fishers Indiana and we have just seen an incredible surge in homes sold for April 2010.
Last month we saw a bit of an increase over the 2009 levels, but in April we saw a 25% increase from last April.  Whoo-who!  Or is it whoo-who?  I so want to be optimistic but as an accountant in a previous life, I am cautious.  The first time home buyer credit and the move up tax credit may be playing into these numbers.  It may take until July and August (since those credits require a June … (0 comments)

I've just completed the wildest two months I've ever had in the Fishers Real Estate market.  I have put a dozen people under contract and am now in the inspection phase and thought I would share some of what I've seen.
