Knowing the best neighborhoods in Fishers can make finding the perfect home for sale in Fishers for you easier!  Wintercove might be the one.  It is tucked away just off of Allisonville Road between 106th and 116th on the East side of the Road.

Last month I tried to step out a bit...far harder than writing a check I must admit.  I am somewhat disappointed in myself that I haven't made it back to the bridge to visit the Tent people.  However, my partner in this (Lisa) has been faithful and goes nearly every week.  She always invites me...<guilt settles over me>....
Last week she said she was heading out to buy a cooler so they could keep their food cold and she would bring ice each week...I knew I could help there.  We had recently cleaned out our garage and found six coolers!

The builders in our area have taken a beating…with many local long time builders simply going out of business.  It happened to Estridge here in town even with a capital infusion from it's vendors last year.  Now they are now partnering with David Weekley.
The hard part for local Indianapolis REALTORS is we don’t know this builder.  So what better place than Active Rain to ask folks if they have heard of him.

John Seward Johnson II (aka J. Seward Johnson Jr) is the artist that created these lifelike statues. 
He is the grandson of Robert Wood Johnson (co-founder of Johnson & Johnson) and first cousin of actor Michael Douglas.  J. Seward actually worked for Johnson & Johnson until he was fired in 1962.

Our neighborhood does not allow soliciting and I have been known to be the No-Soliciting Police at times.  But not this time.

Stereotypes exist for a reason…many times there is some truth to them…but, I’m not really writing to argue that point. 
I spent the last few days in Manhatten helping my 22 year old get settled.  The pace, the directness, the sheer volume of people was overwhelming to this Indiana gal. 
But, it did provide numerous opportunities for me to pay it forward.  Case in point…at the hotel I was staying at (which by the way had what looked to be mold spots on the bathroom door….ick) didn’t have a place where you could print boarding passes.   Welcome to 2011!

Fishers Real Estate Sold in June 2011 - 07/13/11 09:59 PM
Do you live in Fishers Indiana?  Do you wonder how the Fishers Real Estate market is doing in your neighborhood.  This is the report for you.
The graph is a pictorial of the last three years showing homes for sale in Fishers that have sold by month.  This month is very close to a year ago with 171 sold compared to 173 a year ago. 
In fact, this is the 2nd month in a row where we are close to the volume from a year ago.  Keep in mind the 1st Buyer Credit ended in April of 2010.

Are you curious about what homes are selling for in Carmel Indiana or how long it is taking to sell a home in Carmel?  This is a great article to read!
We are still seeing a bit of a decline from a year ago (third month in a row!)...this June we sold 145 homes in Carmel compared with 165 a year ago.
Neighborhoods in Carmel that did well are popular Builder neighborhoods; both Arden and Stanford Park (Ryland) and the Traditions at the Monon (Pulte) had many homes sell this month.  And the Village of West Clay, as usual, had many … (0 comments)

Geist Waterfront Homes are Selling - 07/13/11 09:59 PM
If you are thinking about selling your Geist waterfront home; you might be curious about what the current market is showing.
I've compared the last six months of 2011 to the same time period in 2010 (January-June) and found that the exact same number of residential homes have sold that are on Geist  Reservoir.  There were 12 both years. 
The good news is the homes on the water are selling faster; 101 days on the market this year compared with 132 days a year ago.  And the price per square foot is also increasing about 15%!

I, like so many of you are in a patriotic mood this weekend.  And while the 4th of July is about the Declaration of Independence; I think I can tie in the Civil War…both events caused brave men/women to risk their lives for a way of life they believed in.  It is about honoring those that have done and continue to do that for us.
