Here are some reasons why --  I live in Cozumel after 35 years of selling real estate.  So I needed health insurance and got my quote from https://www.aetnaglobalhealthinsurance.com for Mexico.  I'm 54 and will pay for near full coverage $1,000 a year.  It does include insurance up to 2 million and coverage when I'm in the United States.  It does not exclude me from any pre exisiting conditions!  Now, where do you want to retire?  Live on $1,500 a month!
