I've experienced a client being so skeptical of myself as someone being in the mortgage business and just wondering if the rate that they were being given was too good to be true.  Well, after I met with them in person, they had a conplete change of heart.  It was partly because of a contract presented to them basically saying that our company will keep our word in terms of the rate given at the point of the meeting and at the closing will be the same.  The contract states that if we give a higher rate, then they have the right to sue us as a company.  That's how sure and honest we are in this business.  It was almost like day and night.  One minute over the phone, they were not sure if they can trust us and then at the end of our meeting, they were basically ready to sign.
