How Will You Bring In 2009? - 12/31/08 11:41 AM
What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
Dressed to the nines and attending a big bash?
A small gathering with friends?
A quiet evening at home? For me New Year's Eve parties are always a let down.  The celebration of the beginning of the new year has never lived up to my expectations.
I'm not sure why.... I've attended
Formal and extravagant New Year's eve parties that provided gourmet food and beverages, beautiful decorations, outstanding music and interesting people. Small parties at homes of friends where we watch movies, ate popcorn and watched the Ball drop at … (58 comments)

7 Days Without AR Makes One Weak - 12/20/08 02:12 PM
Yes, I've been MIA for about a week.  I won't go into detail let's just say an unbelievably stubborn virsus/cold/flu (little one and me), life's curve balls, work and day to day chores bogged me down to an all-time low.  I'm trying to dig my way out but progress is slow and sometimes painful!
So, what effect has this absence from AR had on my business?  Only time will tell but I know it will take its toll.

Holiday Balance - It Comes from the Heart - 12/10/08 08:58 AM
We just celebrated Thanksgiving a couple of weeks ago and now we are quickly approaching Christmas.  What do these holidays mean to you and what message are you sending your children and/or grandchildren?
Was Thanksgiving  all about a big meal and a day of football on tv at your house?  Or was it a time to to pause and give thanks for all your blessings?
It is easy to be thankful for the good things, but we also need to give thanks for
Things we don't know -  it gives us an opportunity to learn Difficult times - it is … (13 comments)

The Christmas season got off to a wonderful start this past weekend when the White Oak River Dance Company, (Swansboro Dance Studio in Swansboro N C) presented The Nutcracker.  Perhaps you are not familiar with the Ballet.  It is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of the Mice" by E.T.A.
