I love my hammered dulcimer.  My husband bought me one for my birthday some years ago.  I love the sound.  Tinkling, like a harp.
The dulcimer was played extensively during the Middle Ages.  I came across the dulcimer in person for the first time near Fredericksburg, Texas.  A great little town.  I heard someone playing and had to stop what I was doing and made tracks to the source.  Loved it from the start.

My husband and I love music of all kinds.  We love to sing and we play several instruments (some less well than others.)  There is something about music that charms us, soothes us, inspires us.  And we find ourselves constantly circling around music.

Please pray for Hawaii. First thing that came to mind was the collection of AR hawaii listings and their agents. Prayers for you all.
Communicating in the Active Rain community as we do, it brings things so much closer, and makes it all so much more personal.  We are thinking of you all, and also those on our west coast.   We pray you will stay safe.
