Is your county reassessing residential taxes? - 06/22/09 10:35 AM
One of my partners is battling with the County over reassessment of his property; this frustrating battle has had its victories & defeats and now stands at the county wanting to reassess the property at 2006 value and call it a day.  What you say!!!  True, the tax bill has been sent. 
The strategy in our county is simple don't let folks know they can request a property reassessment because there is no money coming into the county due to the current real estate market.

Patriot & Liberty, Turtle Bay Baby Eagles getting ready to fly - 06/05/09 04:34 PM
 There are so many crazy things that happen in this world and day to day the work keeps piling on but when there is something that makes you stop what your doing and think about how grateful you are to be  living in a place where you can appreciate wildlife and nature, it's truly a great thing. 
Along Highway 44 & the Sacramento River there are a pair of bald eagles who had decided to set up camp. The Bald eagles who don't mind the freeway noise and folks walking across the sundial bridge to take photo's of them.
