Clark County and Vancouver WA real estate has been climbing out of an unusually slow early Summer Home Sales season to post a 26% increase in Pending Sales, when compared to July's Pending Sales. We are using the Vancouver MLS (covers Clark County Washington also) to obtain a quick snap-shot view of what happened real estate wise within the confines of Clark County Washington (Vancouver USA is the largest community) for the month of August. Vancouver WA Homes For Sale -- July's activity is even Slower! Vancouver WA Homes have previously been reported showing the slowdown experienced following the lapse of the Federal Home Buyers Tax Credit, combined with a traditional early summer slowing in sales activity. This month the Pending sales slipped by 10 units (less than 5%) while the big news is that the Sold homes slipped to 189 -- a whopping 156 units lower than in June; and lower than June's Pending sales figure by 39 units.
