Rain in Carlsbad New Mexico? Is this actually possible?
As many of you know, here in Carlsbad New Mexico we have not gotten but very, very little rain over the past couple of years.
I had just got home when the clouds started coming in from the South West.

I thought this cloud looked pretty neat with the "mushroom shaped head" it was to get bigger.

And the last shot before it got too dark to stay out in the what we call the "RAIN".

I like being older.

 As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of  myself. I've become my own friend..  I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before  they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer  until 4 AM or sleep until noon? A crappy situation for all involved. Can anyone guess how many of the port-a-potties were indeed in use?
Not to take all the fun out of guessing.... but there was no one in the "bathrooms when the balloon hit them" LOL

Success in the Rain.
There I was sitting watching the news when my cell phone rang.
You just never know who it might be. The caller had sent me a e-mail asking what the cost would be for an inspection on a "Geodesic home". Wow , I was thinking there are not that many Geodesic homes around here. It will be fun.
So I shot back an E-mail informing him of the fee's involved with the inspection. Then several days went by no word.
Then "the call", he wanted the inspection. It's set up for saturday at nine am.

I just wanted to say Happy Easter to all of my friends on Active Rain. With all tht's going on in our lives we need to take a moment and reflect about what this day really means. I won't get into all the religous meanings. But it is a day to be greatful for our many blessings and to look forward to the future. We need to the bidding of the almighty and then we will be blessed.
