LeTip International - Any Ideas or Help

Hello!!!!

I have recently joined a LeTip group in Rockaway, New Jersey.

It is basically a networking/referral type of group and I feel that it is going good.. although the number of referrals is small due to the nature of our business.

An interesting note on one referral I received... I was out one day on a hike and the cellphone rang and a gentleman asked me to come and give a listing presentation on his 2.5 million dollar home. The referral came by way of a LeTip memeber's secretary that had seen me in the office and knew me to be an agent in that particular area! The member was not in the office at the time and the secretary took it upon herself to give out the referral... nice job!

Any ideas on how to use the system to my better advantage or any help for receiving more refferrals would be greatly appreciated.

P.S - We did not get the listing but it was close!(Nepotism!)

My Cats

PACA

Slinky

These are my 2 cats, Paca and Slinky. They are my first cats and I have tried to train them like dogs(It Didn't Work)

Paca (A Calico) is actually named Apocalypse Meow because she sounded like a helicopter when she purred. We got her as a 1 pound kitten from the shelter and she is an excellent mouser(We live in the country) and is very affectionate and very smart.

Slinky we got from the shelter also but she was a grown cat and we were told 2 years of age (More like 4). She "slunk" around, ie her name. We found out on her first real Vet visit she had probably been hit by a car as both her back legs were broken at some time and she internal damage to her diaphragm. This has not stopped her from being a superb athlete as she can jump straight into the air about 4 feet high and slap a ball back at you with alacrity. She is very affectionate and has really come out of her shell but it took almost 2 years for her to do this.

AN OPEN LETTER TO A FRIEND

Hello John!

I would not worry about offending people with statistics about Violence, if they are true and well presented. Offending others is done constantly by the Other Side and according to them, it is perfectly alright.(As long as it is done "to" and "about" Conservatives) Personally, I find Lanny Davis, Paul Begala and Al Franken OFFENSIVE(To mention but a few), but I have better manners than they do and won't stoop to their level by namecalling.

Most people throw labels around and I think that most do not comprehend the word, "conservative".

I like the label myself.

For my own part, I wish to "retain" the goodness in our society... fiscal responsibility, a strong national defense, taking the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for what they say(Not what some scheister lawyer interprets them to mean), limited government and regulation, and last, but not least.... FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

How can this be bad?

I consider myself to be one of the nicest people in the world. I'm caring, I love animals, I help my neighbors, my family, my clients and customers, I give money to causes other than political, I love my wife, I love my Country, I love my 2 cats, I give of my time, I work hard at what I do, and most all I love my G-d and thank him for putting me on this Earth at this time in history because of all the great things we have.

How can this be bad?

The Complainers(Especially Obama) should be made to take a pill where it transports them back even 125 years and watch the pain, the suffering and the death (By the age of 45) that were naturally occuring. Back to the discrimination against all nationalities, colors, religions, creeds, sects and tribes that were not only inherent in our society but in ALL societies... Back to the 16 hour workday. Back to where one of biggest causes of death was DIARRHEA. Back to where most children were dead by the age of 4. Enrico Caruso, the great Italian Tenor, was the 18th of 23 children and the only one to live past infancy!

Nowadays, our children get full scholarships to major universities for SOCCER!

The unfortunate occurence is that the Media is complicit in all of this Brouhaha... Constantly stirring the simmering pot of hate, class warfare and the differences amongst peoples.

The housing crisis is no crisis. I am convinced that the banks needed to make a big score and THEY HAVE by what we see going on with the interest rates. Rates sholud be at the lowest point in history but are still 6.25% to consumers...? No wonder the housing market keeps slipping! Why should we continue to bail out bad businessmen? If I spend too much on advertising and don't get the return on my investment... should NAR have to reimburse me? Why does Toyota continue to make a profit?

A must read... if you haven't already read it ...

"UPSTREAM, The Ascendance of American Conservatism" by Alfred S. Regnery

It lays out where we came from... how we got here(Yikes) and why the Other Side thinks they're better than us....(Blame it on F.D.R.!)

OBAMA... IS HE HANDSOME, INTELLIGENT AND A GOOD SPEAKER?

I wondered during the 2004 Democratic Convention about all the hype that was being heaped upon a "Shining Star" of the Democrat party... a certain Barak Hussein Obama. The news media would not let us forget about this person with less than 2 years experience as a state senator from Illinois. Teddy Kennedy, John Kerry, John Edwards, Dick Durbin and all the usual suspects have told us what a great man that Obama IS...

Handsome? ... not really. He doesn't give me "electric shocks shooting up my legs" as he does Chris Matthews from Hardball. Of course, I do not have the specific genetalia nor the upbringing that precludes me to find a male attractive or handsome. But... I have seen some cartoon characters and farm animals that I would call handsome before Barack Hussein Obama. He is pasty faced and has ears that only a mother could love and that would be an elephant mixed with a Basset Hound.

Intelligent? ... I don't know about this one either. Consider...

Revernd Wright?

Bomber William Ayers?

Tony Resko?

Michelle Obama?

Oprah Winfrey?

Raising the Capital Gains Tax?

Repealing the Defense of Marriage Act?

Having visited 57 States on campaign tour?

Iran doesn't pose a threat to World security?

Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan... "Barack Obama is the hope of the entire world."

New Black Panther Party -- "Barack Obama represents 'Positive Change' for all of America. Obama will stir the 'Melting Pot' into a "Molten America.'"

The list goes on...

Good Speaker? ... I dont... know about this... one, either.... If you think... that stopping every... three words... to consider your... next phrase... is good speaking... then, I guess... you like the ... hiccups.

A great picture I can't post because it is not mine....

REMEMBER OUR HEROES

REMEMBER OUR HEROES

I recently closed a home with a young Army Captain who had just returned the year before from the fight against Islamic Extremism. He had received the Silver Star when the tank he was commanding was hit by a IED(Roadside Bomb). I am unsure of exactly what transpired but he must have done something quite rare and brave to receive the award. He is 30% disabled with a back injury from the wounds he received.

If that sort of Heroism was not enough, upon returning stateside he was given the job of knocking on the doors of families telling them their sons or daughters would not be coming home.

In my book he is 2 times a Hero.

Great Fishing Right Now In Sparta Lakes!!!!

If you haven't wet a line in a while... right now may be the time to get at it!

Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Bluegill are all waiting for an offering in local lakes and ponds.

Try worms, minnows, spinners, crickets, plugs and flies... all should work in short order as the bass and bluegills are in Prespawn and looking for protein for the long ordeal of raising a family and guarding the nest.

PUT ALL BASS BACK QUICKLY INTO THE WATER AS THEY ARE NOT IN SEASON!!!

Slinky (Left) and Paca (Apocalypse Meow)

I had requests from some members to show off my cats, Slinky and Paca.

Paca was a kitten and Slinky was several years old(4?) when we got them from West Milford.

Paca sounded like a helicopter when I first brought her home so I named her Apocalypse Meow.

Slinky had been hit by a car and has broken legs but we didn't find it out for several months after her first real examination by the Vet.

They are my first cats and I tried to train them like dogs... it almost worked!

** My buyer wants 50% of my commission!! ** Response to Jim

Dear Jim,

Tell them they are not serious and should find a fool who will "work" for nothing. (Slave is a better word!) Walk..., no, run away from them!

They will not be and cannot be friends when all is said and done.

Can you imagine them as friends?

Part of the problem nowadays is that unfortunately the cut rate realtors have very low self opinions and will work for nothing. Ask the listing agents here in New Jersey that do listings for 3%, pay out 2.5 and are only getting ½ a percent. They are withering on the vine and leaving the state because they can't make ends meet.

You should never have to justify what you earn and "earn" is the primary word here! I don't know about you but I "earn" what I take home. Yeah, every now and then you hit a Home Run with someone that walks in and buys a home the first time out but this is rare!

You are not a charlatan.

You have a family to support. (Ooops.. is that word "family" able to be spoken in anything that has to do with Real Estate?)

Ask them what they do for a living and then ask how they would feel if you asked them to work for half or if they would work for half the salary?

They are not customers but thieves!

Obviously, they are young, ignorant of others feelings and generally stupid.

"We've never worked so hard on anything in our entire lives"

MORE ABOUT FISHING IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

We are often asked if we Flyfish. I capitalize the word Flyfish because in so many outdoorsman's and outdoorswomen's eyes the term is similar to some sort of higher diety that when spoken or written down a chorus of angelic voices accompanied by pipe organs is heard amongst billowing superwhite cumulus clouds and a burst of blinding sunlight.

Sorry.. I didn't get it. I tried it and.... I didn't like it! When I was young and impressionable the fellow in the sporting goods store that sold the $2000 rods and reels (And the expensive English whipcord pants and wool shirts made in Oregon) told a story that he and a number of other "famous" fisherman, equally divided into teams between fly rods and spin rods, had an outing at one of the big millpond lakes that are quite numerous on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.(My Home State) According to Chuck Orvis, the owner of the store that sold the magic $2000 rods and reels, the two teams fished a whole day and the flyfisherman outcaught the bait and lure fisherman 2 to 1!

I bought it the salespitch... Hook, Hackle and Peacock Herl! I fished the magic $2000 rods and reels and caught and caught and caught.... I had a magic rod for trout, one for browns, one for brookies, one for bass, one for bluefish, one for stripers....etc.... etc.... etc...

Alas,... many flyrods and reels later I concurred with Chuck of the magic $2000 rod and reel store that we did catch 2 times as many fish. The only problem was they were all small, undersized specimens that were better left unmolested. Sure, we caught some nice ones, a couple were recordbook variety but that was because we fished so much and according to the law of averages we had to catch some larger fish due to the amount of time we spent thrashing the water with the flyline. Put me in a school of breaking Stripers and between myself using lures or whole sandworms and a boatload of flyfisherman... I will catch the bigger fish... no brag, just fact.

About 25 years ago I went back to 2# to 6# test, long rods(Light Steelhead Noodle) and a whole nightcrawler on a long, light wireshanked #1 Aberdeen... no weight for freshwater. I have caught #40 salmon, 20# steelhead in freshwater, 40# albacore, 15# redfish, 30# Rockfish(Stripers) and a host of other kick-ss brutes on the same rod and reel setup in saltwater.(But using Sandworms instead of Nightcrawlers) It is amazing how these lighter rods and lines will beat these larger fish and they are released in much better condition than one played out on a flyrod.

These specimens were caught yesterday evening(Sunday May 11th) on a local lake.... I missed one that was on for about 10 seconds, tearing up the water in the shallows and she got off... I had witnesses... about 8#'s....

Put back the big bass and eat the bluegills!(Unless the bass are stunted, then keep them)

FISHING IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

I am constantly in awe of the bad rap that New Jersey gets and especially since I am a transplant I can understand it to a degree. New Jersey is not one big waste dump, Mafia burial ground or forest of smokestacks, although... if you drive through Elizabeth you may have that opinion!

Northern New Jersey, where I reside with my wife, Mary, is absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the Eastern U.S.. Like the above photo of Lake Grinnell in Sparta Township. (Go to the link below for more nice pictures of Sussex County)

http://localism.com/real-estate/NJ/Sussex%20County/pictures

Besides the mountains, the valleys, the trees, the wildlife and the trails, there is the fishing. Superb lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks and streams situated in great settings and all ready with fish that are hungry to bite a passing offering.

In the 20 or so years since our moving to this part of the world we have tramped most of the trails and fished most of the open waterways. Some of favorite fishing is done in the overwhelming number of ponds and smaller lakes that dot the landscape.

Bluegills(My particular favorite), largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel cats and bullheads, yellow and white perch, shellcracker redear sunfish, rock bass, crappie, pike and pickerel are just a sampling of the species available. If you venture into Lake Hopatcong there are Muskies and Hybrid Striped Bass that are prepared to test your tackle. Some of the largest white perch with which I have ever tangled swim in Hopatcong... excellent eating!

Bluegills and other panfish when filleted boneless are superb cooked in this fashion!

Ingredients:

Flour

Egg and milk beaten together

Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs

Peanut oil

Dust fillets in flour, then soak briefly in milk and egg mixture, then into a bag with Breadcrumbs and then into hot peanut oil for about 30 seconds... serve with Texas hotsauce or any condiment you'd like!!!!

Give it a try.. you'll love it!

Barrister Robert Einreinhofer

Small Lake Largemouth (The Fish not the Fisherman!)
