This past weekend I finished decorating the house for Christmas. Our decorating routine is a big ordeal so I thought I'd write about how it goes. The husband brings the tree upstairs and begins to assemble it. This year I walked in to find him looking very disgruntled. He said that the tree was not level and it was making him angry. During this time of year we begin to hear from homeowners this phrase: "we don't want to list our house during the holidays, we're going to wait until spring". Have you ever wondered if there was any advantage to selling your house during the holiday season? There are definitely a few advantages to marketing a home during the holidays.

christmas: It's Christmas already? - 11/14/07 03:52 PM

I'm sure that this is a highly over-discussed topic, but does it seem that Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year?
I went to the mall last weekend and could not believe that every store had their Christmas decorations up and they were all playing Christmas music! But what puzzles me most is that all retail stores seemed to be placing Christmas items right next to their Halloween items in October. Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween and I love Christmas, but I don't feel like I truly get to enjoy each holiday individually.
