Finally, fairness prevails! No more paying "under the table". This is my response to the folks who are declaring the "extra tax burden" on second homeowners due to the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010.
ARG! There is no extra tax burden, only more paperwork, specifically documenting payment of others and completing  1099s. And actually, for property managers, we already have this system in place and it is much easier then performing weekly payroll. The naysayers are worried that second homeowner will be overburdened . 2010 Second Home Trend Report Results Good News! - 09/21/10 01:30 PM
This report 's  results indicated 45% respondents  are in the market for a second home. " More impressively, of the remaining 54% who indicated that now would not be a good time to buy 79% indicated that they would be likely or very likely to purchase in the next 2 years". This is great news for Carolina Mornings Realty. Our vision is on target. Getting into the buying and selling of vacation rentals  now, even when the market is not so strong, is perfect timing.
