I am often told that I am a pretty positive person; often happy, smiling and energetic. I am so grateful every time I hear that because I know that it is exactly the kind of person I intend to be every day! Research has shown that people with a more positive disposition are usually more optimistic, tend to be healthier (perhaps even live longer), are more energetic and often achieve more because of their mindset. "When you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life." We have all heard that saying before and I am here to tell you it is absolutely true! I have found a way to turn my passions into a meaningful and profitable career. I too often have conversations with clients who struggle to build their business and usually it is because they have a negative association with "selling" their services. Is it possible to just be in the right place at the right time and boom …you’re an overnight sensation? … an instant success? Hmm … probably not. The belief that success can happen over night is a myth. Please don’t buy into the images of success you see in the media when you look at athletes, entertainers and highly successful entrepreneurs. All we see when we look at those individuals is their status, their current level, their income and their fame. Rarely ever do we stop and think or even try to acknowledge the long road they had to travel (11 comments)
I originally wrote and posted this blog back in August of 2010 ... however I felt it was still important to re-post today because I am always amazed at how many people I meet who are still not convinced! Social Media is NOT a fad people! And it is not the next big thing ... It IS the next big thing! Have you joined the Social Media Revolution?

What is it? A dream or vision board is a way of creating a visual representation of a goal(s). It gives you something tangible to focus on. This can help you strive towards it. Why is it important? When working towards a goal, it is really important to have something to visualize. A dream board makes your dreams and goals physically present. Looking at your dream board every day will build more energy towards those goals. You will enforce your desires and arrange your priorities. If you have ever watched just even 10 minutes of the Olympics, then you understand the power of a dream. Don’t underestimate how dreaming in vivid colors (while you’re awake!) can define the quality of your life. For many of us, setting goals is a standard practice in our business. But how many of us set out to see our DREAMS become reality? Sadly, too often, we hear phrases that call for us to get our heads out of the clouds and come down to earth and that ask us to stop dreaming dreams because they will never come true.
