When you make up in your mind that something may not work, you have relegated it to failure. Just by merely thinking it may not work, the amount of effort that you will put forth is limited. Depending upon how likely you feel it's success will be will subconsciously determine the amount and the quality of your efforts.
Most things that are legitimate and worthwile require work... Usually lots of work. If you want to be successful in your efforts you must wholeheartedly believe in the future success of your efforts, otherwise you are doomed to failure.

In addition to people doing business with people they Know, Like, and Trust. They also seek information and advice from people they know, like, and trust. This is done many times even though the sought after information and advice is foreign to that person.
Also, people are alway moved emotionally although their action may be totally illogical.
Imagine if the brightness (wattage) and type was stamped on our heads like light bulbs. That surely would make it a lot simpler to determine who could shed light, and how much on a given subject. Very often people will seek advice from people … (4 comments)

"Adult to Adult" "Adult to Child" "Child to Adult" "Child to Child" You can make the decision to limit it to one the first two simply by maintaining the "Adult" role. As you may have heard me say again, and again: "Emotion ALWAYS trumps logic, and this is why we will sometimes reduce our position to that of the "Child."

lead (leed) n. a suggestion or piece of information that helps to direct or guide; tip; clue: I got a lead on a new job. The phone list provided some great sales leads.
 
Based on the preceding definitions, does it make sense to do mass mailings, in today’s economic climate, in an attempt to “farm” geographical areas? ...Or would it make more sense to develope a targeted marketing plan that would reach out to "real" prospects and leads? What are your feelings on this?
