virtual assistants: Virtual Assistants 101 - 04/25/09 10:36 AM
By Coco Clayman-Cook
Virtual assistants are people you hire to work from a location other than your office.  I use virtual assistants for any task that I can benefit from hiring someone else to do.  If I don't like a task, I hire a virtual assistant.  I don't like posting blogs, it's time consuming and not a good use of my time.  So I have a virtual assistant post the blogs for me.  That way I have more time to write the blogs, which is a better use of my time.
I also hire virtual assistants to do things I am not … (2 comments)

virtual assistants: Being the Best Realtor You Can Be - 08/11/08 04:22 PM
Are you the best realtor you can be?  Are there things that you wish you could accomplish but you constantly find yourself at the end of the day thinking there just isn't enough time?  I am a huge fan of Timothy Ferriss' book The Four Hour Work Week.  While the book isn't specifically written for realtors there are so many principles that apply - it is certainly worth reading. In fact I sat and highlighted it and then gave it to one of my favorite clients as he has a four hour work week every week. I need a new copy!

Honestly,  I can't imagine why anyone in business isn't using Virtuals.  To me that's like being in business twenty years ago and refusing to use a telephone; or ten years ago refusing to use a computer.  Yes, Virtuals are a fairly new business tool, but as it turns out they're even more helpful than the phone or the computer because they come with their own phones and computers and … (2 comments)

In honor of Thanksgiving, I am taking extra time this week to be grateful for all of the wonderful things that I enjoy in my life.  I have the time to be grateful, because I have Virtual Assistants.  What's a Virtual Assistant you ask? A Virtual Assistant (VA for short) is someone who assists you from another work site, frequently their own home.  They can assist you with everything from research, to proof reading documents, to creating handmade invitations, the possibilities are endless.
