What is your thought of the day? Each morning when I wake up I try to give myself a thought for the day. Then I try to find time during the day to take a deep breath and concentrate of that thought. I find that it centers me and helps me to stay focused. Some examples of powerful thoughts:

There is so much to love about the vertical life. One of my favorite things about living vertically is the simultaneous advantages of living in a private residence while being surrounded in the ultimate in comfort and safety.
When I come home I am treated to the privacy of my own residence. I am completely unaware of the people who live above and below me. My home is quiet, serene and free of anyone else's influence.

Did you know that as long as appliance is plugged in it drains electricity, driving your power bill through the roof and wasting precious energy? One simple way to help the environment and save money at the same time is to unplug appliances when you are not using them. Sometimes it isn't convenient to have to plug appliances in repeatedly. The economy has changed significantly in the last two years. With gas prices at an astronomical high, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that business is changing and about to change even more. While the real estate market continues to stumble there is one area of the market that is stepping firmly into the limelight; the luxury condo market. While no one is overjoyed with the current down turn in housing values there is a new positive note for some LA Condo owners. The Los Angeles County Assessor, Rick Auerbach, announced recently that a reassessment was done of a group of homes and condominiums purchased between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2007. The reassessed value of the homes will result in an average tax savings of $750 on October's bill.
