Cole House Design was called by a Halton homeowner recently, to assess what could be done to help her plain-jane taupe coloured powder room. Living in a smaller sized house, she had little storage space on the main floor, and was hoping to remedy that by redesigning the bathroom.
The pedestal sink in her powder room provided no storage, so we opted to change it to a wooden vanity with tons of space below the sink. Cole House Design, a home staging firm located in Georgetown Ontario completed this staging transformation recently. The home had been a former Georgetown builder's model home in the 1980's and had been decorated in some wild colours like violet and aqua. The homeowners had recently re-painted most of the home beige and cream, and were now looking to sell and downsize. They called Cole House Design to complete the staging transformation.

I remember as a child, my mother used to ask us to put our outgrown clothing, books and toys into a big cardboard box just before Christmas. She signed up for many years to help out a family in need in our community, and she always made sure that that box, was overflowing when it left our house.

Cole House Design, an interior redesign and home staging firm located in Halton Hills, was recently hired to redesign an ensuite bathroom for a Georgetown, Ontario client. The small bathroom was used by both the husband and wife...it had little storage, and had been finished with the "builder basics".
With a tight budget in mind:

Cole House Design, a home staging firm located in Georgetown, Ontario recently staged a home west of Toronto, where our client had placed a sewing area for herself, in her sons' basement toyroom. Although the placement of the desk in the room was fine, it was disorganized and cluttered, and did not really suit the real function of the room. Cole House Design moved the sewing machine and sewing supplies into the neighbouring laundry room, and instead turned the desk into a child's art area complete with craft supplies, paper, and bulletin board.

Cole House Design was just reading Pam Faulkner's blog: "Does the Addams Family Live Next Door to Your Staged Home?". It made me laugh and reminded me of this home:
This photo was taken at the end of March, and yes that's a Christmas tree sitting haphazardly in the urn. Christmas lights are still strung around the tree and the front of the house. Newspapers are piled up on the front porch. The driveway has a huge pothole in it. The garage doors have paint peeling off of them.

Hi everyone!
My name is Nicole Hurst, and I own a home staging and interior redesign company called Cole House Design in beautiful Georgetown, Ontario. Mind you I use the term "beautiful" very loosely right now as we are currently in the middle of a snowstorm and it is -6 degrees celsius outside.
