Pinecliff is a venerable neighborhood of choice for owners wanting to be near major employers and educational institutions in Colorado Springs. It is just west of I-25 and just north of Garden of the Gods Road. Just across I-25 is the campus of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Pinecliff is also close to the many of the tech industries including the large Hewlett-Packard facility.Downtown and Colorado College are just over 10 minutes away.Pinecliff homes are zoned to Academy District 20 schools.The majority of the 400+ houses were built between the early 70’s and mid 2000’s.Older houses that need updating (0 comments)
With 233 homes, built between 1993 and 2000, South Face is a medium size community in Rockrimmon.
It is located just north of Vindicator Dr., between Rockrimmon Blvd. and Centennial Blvd. Just across Vindicator Blvd. is Ute Valley Park with mountain biking and hiking trails covering 338 acres. There is a portable potty at the trailhead, 1705 Vindicator Dr. (the parking lot is on Vindicator just east of Centennial Blvd.). Eagles Nest is one of the smaller subdivisions in Rockrimmon with just 46 homes built between 1993 and 1996.
It is located just off the intersection of W. Rockrimmon Blvd. and Vindicator Dr. Eagles Nest is less than a mile from the sprawling Hewlett-Packard campus which is just one of several technology employers in the area. The technology companies can be found just a few miles south of Rockrimmon as well as extending to the north, with the FedEx campus being about the furthest, at 10 miles north on I-25.
