I represented a seller who just sold 20 acres of vacant land with 340 feet of prime road frontage on Ridge Road in North Royalton, Ohio 44133.
The buyer was the Cleveland Metroparks.
I have to say, it was an extremely rewarding sale in that the Greater Cleveland area will now benefit from the land being maintained in its natural state with no development.  The Rocky River is not too far from the rear of this property, so the health of our streams is also important. The Bald Eagles Have Returned to The Cuyahoga Valley National Park - 02/18/10 07:17 PM
I just read an article on Ohio.com that two bald eagles have returned to a nest in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) !  Given the history of pesticides and the decline of this wonderful species in the 1970s, this is exciting to hear that they are making a comeback.  They are in fact, no longer on the endangered species list.
I regularly hike on the Towpath Trail in the CVNP and go by that area on occasion.

Okay, Forbes.com has ranked Cleveland has having the worst winter weather of the largest 50 cities when comparing total precipitation, average annual temps, and total snowfall.
Everyone I spoke with today around Cleveland were perplexed, but NOAA can't be wrong if they have gathered data over the past thirty years.
What doesn't make any sense to me is:  Ask anyone who lives in Minneapolis or Chicago for that matter, who has worse winter weather, Minneapolis or Chicago or Cleveland.  If you were to line up a ton of people, I could pretty much guess that most everyone would rank Cleveland … (6 comments)
