My family and I were going out to dinner early this evening and were driving down Route 18 from Medina to Fairlawn and noticed some rather interesting business signs for little shops along side this busy, 4-lane, 55mph undivided highway:
 
While I couldn't get a pic of these signs (perhaps next time) as we were driving, I noticed three signs:

On Saturday mornings, from 9am-1pm, through mid-September, Luther Farms (a family enterprise since 1900) is providing fresh vegetables and fruits for the third consecutive season.
I have seen firsthand from a few inquiries we have made from Mayor Alai how quickly and responsive the City of Broadview Heights when it comes to all things local.
This is a wonderful, local way to eat better, support our local farms, reduce our carbon footprint, and have some fun.

Kalahari Water Park in Sandusky Ohio is simply a water park on steriods.
What a difference a generation makes (okay...maybe more than a generation).  When I was a kid, we went north about 5 minutes to a little pond called Bluebell beach.  Some basic sand, few ropes, and some squishy bottom sand with seaweed, and that was hog heaven for me.

Any field of endeavor has it's crazy, funny and stupid things done by its practitioners -- real estate is no different, and I would argue it's worse.  Why is it worse? My son is a huge Cleveland Indians fan.  Poor kid, the Cleveland Indians are in the cellar as usual and they lose most games. 
So...my dilemma is: How can we go see them, have a good time, some great seats, without paying full retail price on everything?
