I snapped this photo on our way home from our son, Ben's, football game in Goldendale, WA yesterday. The day was overcast and dreary, a true autumn afternoon. Ben's team also lost for the first time this season, against one of the other Hood River teams, perhaps adding to the somber mood.

Speechless Sunday - Mt. Hood From Goldendale, Washington A couple weeks ago, Mel took this photo of the view of Mt. Hood from a client's land, The Dandy Valley Farms & Nursery, in Goldendale, Washington. Goldendale is about 45 minutes northeast of Hood River and across the Columbia River, in the heart of Washington's farming country.
