alexa: An alternative to Alexa - Quantcast - 01/11/07 12:37 AM
Does anyone use Quantcast to measure traffic for websites? Blogs? 
 Comparing traffic on websites interests me. Until recently Alexa was the only site I was aware of  to compare for example Active Rain and other sites. "Using Alexa to Compare Traffic Across Sites" Dustin Luther of Rain City Guide, June 7, 2006.
Little itty biitty brand new Localism's Audience vs. the lots of things - Alexa graphs!
Active Rain vs. other social networking sites, incl. Dogster.com, Catster.com, etc. - Alexa graph!
Active Rain vs. MyBlogLog.com and others -Alexa graph!
Active Rain vs. other real estate blogging such as RealTown Blogs -Alexa  graph!

I know... I know I look at Alexa traffic stats too often. I wanted a snapshot of RealTown Blogs traffic pre-December 7, 2006 so I went to Alexa again this morning. 
My other blog is a RealTown blog, may I draw your attention to a blog on RealTown Blogs about Florida? I am sure Leanne's traffic has gone up and down just like the rest of ours and that she has been 2% or higher before but this snapshot caught it at 2% of the total of all RT Blogs (well over 2000) blogs.

alexa: RealTown Blogs Traffic vs. Active Rain - 11/30/06 03:38 AM

This is Alexa so it is skewed....  RealTown Blogs as a whole are very stable... they are not losing traffic but they are not growing the way Active Rain is.
That is not to say that individual RealTown Blogs are not growing.  Jonathan Dalton's Blog now accounts for 7% of the traffic on RealTown Blogs. Jonathan's traffic has been growing steadily.  Keep up the good work Jonathan! 
What do you think is the reason the traffic is growing on your blog?  Is it doing battle with the bubble bloggers? Playing with other real estate bloggers? Something else?

How do you measure reach? In boxing or blogging..... the Sellsius° challenge write 101 entries in 24 hours.  Sellsius° Blog* started by doing a marathon last week. 
The Blood Hound Blog and Searching Seattle blog are in a  match... Ardell of Seattle in the red trunks... Greg of AZ in the blue trunks...are they matched?
