The surviving exotic animals housed at the Columbus Zoo since last fall are leaving Columbus today. Today? Where were you last October when the lions, tigers and bears were let loose in Ohio? I was two counties west of Muskingum County, Ohio watching it on TV. The next day the surviving animals moved to Columbus, to the Columbus Zoo. The Columbus Zoo announced the birth of a bouncing bundle of joy today, a baby elephant. Born at about 2:35 PM today after a 655 day gestation period to Phoebe, a 21 year old Asian elephant. The daddy elephant (sire ) is Coco. Phoebe and Coco are the parents of Bodhi, the 4 year old elephant which was the first successful elephant birth at the Columbus Zoo... The music video set in Columbus is called "Green in the Morning." I spotted.... The statehouse reflected in a glass building across the street. The carousel at the Columbus Zoo.
