rainmaker: Localism closed to new members? Really? - 07/05/10 06:23 AM

Is Localism closed to new members?
I believe I just read that as an excuse why someone IS NOT a RainMaker... If YOU become a RainMaker your content will go on Localism. You can post what you want to, to Localism.
Isn't Localism open to new members?   Or did Localism close to new members while I was not paying attention?   The comment saying Localism is closed to new members is in a Featured Members Only post.  It's one of the querlous posts talking about another member talking about consumers... I can NOT quote the comment since it is in … (8 comments)

rainmaker: Grandfathered Rainmaker Accounts Reward Participation - 06/16/10 09:38 AM
About three weeks ago Bob Stewart wrote
Grandfathered RainMaker Accounts: Rewarding Members Who Continue to Participate:
"Starting June 24th, grandfathered RainMakers who have not posted a public blog post in the previous 90 days will lose their grandfathered RainMaker status. You will be notified when your account has gone 60 days without a blog post. This will give you 30 days to generate one public blog post in order to keep your grandfathered RainMaker status."
Bob gave the reasons...

Just one PUBLIC post... every 90 days.
Have you seen inactive members post?
Do you think members long inactive … (23 comments)

Q.  Outside bloggers do you remember to use THAT link?
An Outside blog in this case I am takling about ActiveRain Outside Blogs.  I have a WordPress blog too.. a WordPress.org blog is a wonderous thing but my question is about Outside Blogs.  Outside blogs brand you in your community.

Look at your website and blogs on  Submit Express's Link Popularity Check Tool
My ActiveRain Outside Blogs are: 'Discover Columbus OH' and 'Worthington Old and News.'  They may not be  Realtor.com, Zillow or Trulia but they are mine.
ActiveRain members how are your Outside Blogs doing in Link Popularity?  Feel free to brag.

rainmaker: ActiveRain Rainmaker 5 easy steps for frustrated listing agents! - 10/03/09 11:41 PM
One of the rules of the Realtor group on LinkedIn is don't post your listings. It's the first rule on the group which is all REALTORS®.
I did not read the rules...  but I did not post a listing either.  It says:
DO NOT post any of the following - if you do, you risk getting your membership in the group revoked: 1. Specific properties for sale.
There are more DO NOTs.  Three more rules I believe.
The REALTORS® group (National Assn of Realtors) on LinkedIn is for discussing issues with other REALTORS®... privately.  There are no consumers to see … (65 comments)

rainmaker: ActiveRain has big advantage over other blogs - 09/10/09 12:50 AM
"ActiveRain has a big advantage over other blogs"
that's a quote.
Or maybe it is a paraphrase.
Vlad Zablotskyy actually said "AR" rather than "ActiveRain"  he quote:
"I have not included Active Rain blogs simple because AR has big advantage over other blogs." back in 2008 on a post on my ActiveRain blog....  where I mentioned a site with the 100 top real estate blogs.  There were no ActiveRain blogs on Vlad's list and in explaining why in a comment why... that's what Vlad said.
The post was   "Top 100 Real Estate Blogs - Did YOUR blog make the list? "
